Life can be unpredictable, challenging and frustrating.

From childhood we adapt to these pressures to help us function and survive.

We can lose parts of ourselves in this process and sometimes even purposefully.

We get to a point where we no longer find functioning as a human in the world a fulfilling experience.

Therapy can help you recognise the parts of yourself you have lost and then reclaim a space to breathe, a sense of balance, and a belief in your self.

You will have a safe place to talk, express and explore with someone who takes an interest in your well-being and emerging needs.

It is a place, where first and foremost, you and your experience are valued, with a view to ultimately, reducing tension, supporting growth and enabling change to help you reach your greater potential.

I think of the process as deep sea diving around shipwrecks, reefs and sand banks.  You lead the way and we go to the depth that works for you, showing your world.  You may wish to approach some old wreck or dust off an interesting shell or dig in a sand mound.  Then when you are ready, return to the surface.

In time, you may decide to reclaim something from the depths or to leave it where it is, knowingly, but you have a chance to map out the underwater landscape to make sense of your world.
